Prof. Ganesh Prakash Channa, Founder and President of the World Environment Council (WEC), is a respected educationist, environmental leader, and national skill-development contributor with over 25 years of distinguished service. His work spans academic reform, sustainability leadership, global representation, and institution building.

As a Board of Studies Member with NCERT, CIET, ICAI, and SCERT Maharashtra, Prof. Channa has played a critical role in developing modern curricula, authoring academic texts, and upgrading learning systems for students across India. His contributions ensure that national education remains aligned with evolving industry and global standards.

He also serves as an accredited Assessor and Auditor for Skill India, CII, PMKVY, and the BFSI Sector, where he evaluates training programs, enhances institutional quality, and strengthens workforce certification processes. His work has significantly supported India’s mission to build a skilled and future-ready youth population.

On the global stage, Prof. Channa has represented India at major United Nations Summits in New York, Portugal, and France, advocating for climate action, sustainable education, and youth empowerment. Through the World Environment Council, he has led impactful initiatives such as the International Environmental Studies Olympiad (IESO), promoting environmental awareness among students worldwide.
